Professeur titulaire au Département de génie électrique et génie informatique et directeur de l'École d'ingénierie de l'UQTR. Docteur en métrologie électronique de l'Université Henri Poincaré (Nancy, France), il est titulaire de la Chaire de recherche Hydro-Québec sur la gestion transactionnelle de l'énergie électrique. Ses travaux portent sur la production décentralisée, l'intégration des systèmes de production et de stockage, la gestion intelligente de la demande résidentielle, l'hydrogène et les énergies renouvelables. Lauréat du Cercle d'excellence de l'Université du Québec (2021), il figure parmi les 2 % de scientifiques les plus cités au monde.
