Occupancy-driven predictive control of HVAC systems
Develops stochastic predictive control for heating, ventilation and air-conditioning that accounts for actual occupancy: holding thermal comfort while using the flexibility a partly occupied building leaves. A 2024 systematic review of occupancy estimation and forecasting methods underpins the work.
