Intelligent mobility and vehicular systems
Full professor in UQTR's Department of Mechanical Engineering, holder of the Canada Research Chair in Energy Optimization of Intelligent Transport Systems and of the Noovelia Research Chair in Intelligent Navigation of Autonomous Industrial Vehicles. He is scientific director of CIRT-MI. For nearly twenty years his work has addressed driver assistance, energy-efficient navigation of autonomous vehicles and the hybridization of on-board energy sources. Governor General's Gold Medal in natural sciences and engineering (2003).
